This week I shared some of my sources to my fellow classmates and discussed them. There was an animated discussion on the future of AI in games and some prominent examples of today such as the Total War series. However, no conclusion was reached for a practical outlet for this dissertation.

Additionally, attended a talk by an ex-Abertay Nvidia employee. He mostly spoke about Deep learning and various graphic programming related dissertation ideas. While initially tempted to alter my course to suit one of these suggestions my research was conclusive that Deep learning is not at a stage where it will be applicable to games and while the graphics programming options were interesting I did want to remain in the realm of AI.

Finally, added three slides to my draft proposal power point explaining the project context and also including relevant posts that back my conclusions.
